About

Tools that tell you the truth about your numbers.

Truepost makes simple money tools for people who run their own truck. The name is the idea: a true post, a dead-accurate marker you can measure against.

Why we exist

Most owner-operators do not fail because they cannot drive. They fail because they do not know their numbers. A rate looks good, the truck stays moving, and the math quietly runs the wrong way until tax season or a big repair makes it impossible to ignore.

The tools out there did not help much. Free calculators were too thin to trust, and they skipped the things that actually decide profit, like deadhead. The real software was built for fleets and priced for fleets. So a lot of drivers ran their business on a gut feeling and a fuel receipt.

We build the in-between: tools simple enough to use at a truck stop, but honest enough to tell you when a load is a loser.

What we believe

Count every mile, not just the paid ones. Empty miles cost real money, so our tools count them.

Use current numbers. We pull the current IRS figures, the per-diem, the mileage rate, the brackets, and build them in, so you are not planning off numbers from three years ago.

Be straight about what we are. We are not accountants, and we say so right on the tools. They are planning tools that help you set aside the right amount and stay organized. For filing, you use a pro. We just make sure you walk in ready.

No traps. Buy a tool once and it is yours. No subscription to forget about, no login, no app to download.
